Senior Helpdesk Analyst
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: 21 – 22k plus shift allowance 1.5k
Shift: 8 – 4 and 4 – 12 alternate
A growing company based in Milton Keynes has a new job for a Senior Helpdesk Analyst to join their fun and driven team. The company provides market-leading training and systems to their clients, which are tailored made to suit needs.
The role of Helpdesk Analyst is the single point of contact for clients to provide support and maintenance. This involves installing, diagnosing, repairing, maintaining and upgrading all software and hardware. Trouble shooting any problems areas as well as being central to the delivery of the product and assisting the clients are equipped to use it.
The support team has 10 guys and in additional a Supervisor and then a Manager so a team of 12 in total.
The Ideal Candidate
This role needs someone who is IT literate and has a strong understanding of Windows 10 and who is happy working in a client facing role. Someone who is good with handling data and understand how to build a database. You will ideally have a background working in IT or a relevant degree that will allow you to hit the ground running.
Technical Knowledge needed:
* Knowledge of current protocols
* Solve software and hardware problems
* Routers, switches and firewall experience
Self confidence and interpersonal skills
Ability to articulate technical language into everyday language
Calm approach to problem solving
£21,000 – £22,000 per annum, plus £1500 shift allowance
